Marionettes, folktales, and fiddlers,

on the road in their Puppet Bus,

celebrating the spirit of the American grassroots.

Civic Media Center—So On and So Forth Puppetmakers ETC. (So&So) are excited to announce the debut of their original show, The Carpenter’s Finger—on Sunday, April 22nd at the CMC (433 S Main). A charming, hilarious, and sometimes grotesque, original folktale brought to life by a cast of handmade wooden marionettes and authentic old-time mountain fiddling, all within a two-and-a-half foot high world where anything is possible. Doors at 3pm, show at 4, talk-back or tunes after the show. This performance is suitable for all ages, parents advised that the play does include mild adult themes.

About Us
So On & So Forth is a traveling puppetry duo presenting traditional music and inventive puppetry for all ages. After leaving Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in a cloud of dust in 2017, So On & So Forth operate their Ship Shape'd Shop out of a converted school bus lovingly entitled Sturdy Gertie. The bus, serving as both tour vehicle and workshop, is fully equipped for puppet construction with a variety of woodworking and textile tools and their #1 puppet, Harvey the Dog. So On & So Forth also appear as an Old-Time Appalachian String Band, actively studying traditional music "in the field", working to preserve musical traditions while maintaining an entertaining and engaging performance. The group currently consists of Grace Mumby and Jacob Mauer.
