Struggling for Justice in Mexico: A View from Ayotzinapa's 43 Missing Students

On Tuesday, June 23rd at 7pm join Dr. Paul Ortiz from the University of Florida, Nayeli Jimenez Cano and Silvestre Hernandez Reyes for this presentation as part of the global initiative to raise awareness about the human rights crisis happening in Mexico. The aim of this event is to provide an overview of the Mexican political and social situation in which the disappearance of the 43 students from Ayotzinapa is articulated. In Mexico there are several political origins that have influenced the wave of violence and that leads towards the persecution and punishment to those who wants to raise their voices.
