To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and invest directly into treatment and recovery.

As a UChapter of To Write Love On Her Arms we work to embody the mission and vision of TWLOHA. We are a community of students who offer hope and support to those dealing with depression, self-injury, addiction and thoughts of suicide. We also work to raise awareness and break down the stigma surrounding these issues.
To aid us in our goals we hold an annual benefit show featuring music and poetry, and the proceeds go directly to help those individuals dealing with mental health issues. The benefit show is designed to invite people into a conversation about issues that aren’t openly talked about. Our hope is that music will become a platform to talk about the issues and to remind the people in the room that if these are things they are struggling with they are not alone. Our goal is that the show echoes the original TWLOHA story that says “songs are brave things bold enough to sing when all they know is darkness.”
Join TWLOHA for a night of acoustic music!
