First Hand History with Donna Tara Lee

Donna Tara Lee will speak at 7pm on Wednesday, June 26th at the Civic Media Center as part of our ongoing First Hand History series with local activists.

Reverend Donna Tara Lee has witnessed and participated in various activist causes since 1963 to the present. She was never a leader but has remained a committed rank and file activist and has been involved with protests and campaigns since 1964. Some of the campaigns, movements and causes she has been involved with include: Peace Movement, Labor Movement, Civil Rights, Womens Rights Movement, GLBTQ Rights, Farm Workers Movement, Anti-Nuclear movement and Justice for Trayvon Martin.

The Donna Tara Lee first hand history event will be recorded and archived as part of the Civic Media Center collection of programs and oral histories going back 25 years.
