Gainesville Citizens for Alternatives to the Death Penalty (GCADP) presents a film screening and talk on themes of reconciliation and restorative justice with guest speaker Kathy Dillon.

Kathy Dillon has been involved in the movement for the abolition of capital punishment since the early 1990's. She is a member of Murder Victims' Families for Reconciliation and a board member of Floridians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty. Kathy writes and speaks publicly from the perspective of having lost both her father and her boyfriend to murder.

Film: CONFRONTATION. Confront, rage, heal, and continue with life. This is the foundation of the Restorative Justice approach and the heart of CONFRONTATION, a special program from A&E. CONFRONTATION chronicles the heartache, the anger and the healing enabled by bringing together those most effected by violent crimes: the victims, their families and the perpetrators. CONFRONTATION follows the stories of two remarkable women coming to terms with tragedy by meeting the men who killed their loved ones.
