Chris Castle is an original singer/songwriter, who has shared stages with folks like Chris Hillman (the Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers), Tommy Ramone (the Ramones), Jimmy Webb, Junior Brown, and Radney Foster. He recorded his 2008 release at the Woodstock, NY home of Americana legend Levon Helm (the Band, Bob Dylan). Since late 2007, Chris has performed more than 400 shows and has been featured in media (print, television and radio) in over a dozen states.

Folk Alley calls him "a rising Americana stand-out". The (New London, CT) Day says that he is a "visionary songwriter" while Shawn Henderson (WSCA fm Portsmouth, NH) hailed Castle's first CD " the best Folk record of 2007" . His sound is most often compared to Jackson Browne, Bob Dylan and Paul Simon.

Castle will be touring as a co-headliner with the Womack Family Band, a four-piece group promoting the release of their debut album on Fararound Records. The Womacks have been likened to the Traveling Wilburys, Wilco, and the Band. Cleveland Magazine says the Womacks "showcase the power of American folk" and calls their new record "an excellent debut, packed with
spot on harmonies". The Womack Family Band was Folk Alley's featured "Artist of the Month" for August 2010.

Their live show consists of stunning three-part vocal harmonies, acoustic and electric guitars, upright bass, keys, drums and percussion, mandolin, clarinet and alto sax.

In the Spring of 2011 the Drenched Earth Tour will be making its way from Ohio through Michigan, down to Ft. Myers Florida, up to Portland Maine and back.
