Please join us for a night of fun, frolicking original music immediately following our first ArtWalk of 2010.

Over Under Yonder is an all-women musical collective that is anchored in the acoustic stylings of singer/songwriter Tina Collins and bandmates Ash and Rama Cheromaya on banjo, guitar, and percussion, respectively. This trio, along w/ an ever-changing tapestry of musical fellow travelers, swap instruments and harmonize freely on music that they describe as "acoustic lady grass."

From the band's MySpace Music page: "Over Under Yonder is a modern bluegrass sisterhood . Their honey sweet vocal harmony and bone chilling banjo ballads echo the old time spirit of Appalachia. With banjo, washboard and guitar in hand, Ash, Rama and Tina have blissfully shared their heartfelt original and traditional songs with a kaleidescope of audiences throughout North America. For four years and counting, the grrls have graced the stage at festivals, in venues, on the radio and on sidewalks across the U.S. Over Under Yonder is a wickedly fun, queer-licious lady grass experience that will leave you laughing, loving and singing along."

O.U.Y. will be joined for this gig by ex-Gainesvillains Kathleen Kennedy (indie folk singer-songwriter extraordinaire) and Jonas Fricke (formerly of O'Haste Annihilation) performing as their touring duo project "Sinking Ship of Time," which they describe as "2-piece soul-fueled, barebones innovation rock." This package comes complete with a drum kit and a harmonium, among other things.
