CMC Hosts Welcome Party for International Exchange Students

On Sunday, July 27th at 1pm, the Civic Media Center will hold to a welcome party for a group of over thirty international exchange students from Europe and Asia who will be participating in a month-long current events, language and culture immersion course here in Gainesville. Please come out and join us as we welcome these young people to our community!
The party starts with a press conference and welcome at 1pm, followed by music starting at 2pm. Performers will include: Faith Willin, an acoustic Americana 3-piece with a taste of old time mountain music thrown in for good measure; Tygur One and his crew, performing collective conscious hiphop; and DirtyFist!, performing their distinctive brand of original, acoustic folk music.
The $3-5 entry donation includes free food and drinks.
