Presenters Jason Fults and Eduardo Vargas of Drops and Watts believe that through simple behavioral changes alone (i.e., no monetary investment), the average consumer can reduce their consumption by 5-10%. With minor investments, another 10-25% is possible. They will also briefly discuss some of the developments here in Alachua County re: the work of the Energy Conservation Strategies Commission and what local citizens can do to push our community towards greater efficiency. Powerpoint presentation is approximately 45 minutes. Q&A will follow.
