The Civic Media Center will present a video followed by discussion on why what went on in 1980’s Nicaragua matters today. The video will be from a Bill Moyer’s special called “High Crimes and Misdemeanors” and guest speakers will include a panel of people who were politically active on Nicaraguan issues during that time, either in the states or in Nicaragua, working in solidarity with the Sandinista government.
