The Counterpoise Collective is throwing its second benefit bash at the Civic Media Center. The collective is a group of volunteers and interns who publish the magazine Counterpoise. Counterpoise reviews, criticizes, promotes, and defends the alternative press. Help the collective get to the American Library Association conference in Washington D.C. so they can promote the underrepresented alternative press. The Alternative press presents viewpoints and ideas outside the mainstream.

The party will feature live music from the local indie band Binary Forest Faux Pas. There will be drinks, snacks, raffles, friends, and more! Come out and support the Counterpoise collective and the alternative press.

When: Saturday, February 24 @ 8 PM

Cover: $5 donation gets you access to all the festivities all night!
