On sound-bite-driven American TV, the Israeli settlements built illegally (per the U.N. and Geneva Convention) in Palestinian territory become more innocuous “neighborhoods.”
Palestinians “attack” (though U.S. reporters never ask why) and Israelis “respond.”
Features are produced on the English-speaking parents of dead Israeli soldiers, but not on the uneducated Palestinians whose adolescent children were killed by an Israeli bomb.
International reporters do something American reporters never do: ask hard questions and confront spokespeople when they spin and lie (80 min).
Tickets are $3 to $10, sliding scale.
